NURSERY REVEAL

Our little girl’s nursery is finally done and it feels so good to share it! I have to say, this room was a team effort between my husband and I. Since getting married and renovating and furnishing our townhome, John has definitely become more interested in design, which is crazy and so cool! Though I initially took a little break from completing this room (due to the busyness of life and feeling stuck with the overall look), John pushed me to keep going, gave plenty of feedback on all of the pieces chosen (including the ones that didn’t make the cut haha), and was right there cleaning every corner before we snapped this final shot.

Also, when we initially planned to incorporate the picture frame moulding, I thought I wouldn’t add anything to the walls. As time went on, I felt like something was missing, and when I couldn’t find anything to purchase, I was like, forget it, I’m going to make something! The “corner swag” flower arrangement (had to look it up to know that term) was an idea I had to embrace the moulding instead of adding something within the frames. It was a grueling process of trial and error until I got it right, but I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with it and think it makes the room feel feminine and a little whimsical.

^ Above is the listed picture of the nursery when we first purchased our townhome (it seems the window was covered by the bunkbed unit).
